2. Vodka Gummy Bear Popsicles

Gummy bears

Gummy bears are one of the best candies out there. Even though they’re considered a kid’s candy, you can use them to make some very grown-up vodka popsicles.

Not only do these popsicles taste delicious, but they also look pretty. Here’s what you need to make vodka gummy bear popsicles:

  • 1 ¼ cup gummy bears
  • 1 ¼ cup vodka
  • 3 cups of Sprite (or ginger ale)
  • Wooden popsicle sticks

Here’s how you make the vodka gummy bear popsicles:

  1. Pour the vodka into a large bowl.
  2. Add the gummy bears and cover, and allow them to soak in the vodka for 24 to 72 hours. The longer the gummy bears soak in the vodka, the bigger they’ll get.
  3. Once you’ve soaked the gummy bears to your liking, stir the mixture to separate them and strain out about one-third of them.
  4. Place the strained gummy bears into the bottom of 10 popsicle molds.
  5. Pour Sprite over the gummy bears until they’re just covered, then place the molds in the freezer for 60 to 90 minutes.
  6. Once the first layer has frozen, add in a second layer of strained gummy bears and soda. Freeze again for 60 to 90 minutes, then repeat the process for a third time.

In total, the layering/freezing process should take about 4 hours. One gummy bear vodka popsicle only has about 100 calories, so this is another great low-calorie alcoholic treat for the summer!
