Mexico is home to many delightful foods and drinks. However, two of the most popular are tequila and jalapeños. Tequila was created in the area and has been produced there for hundreds of years. Jalapeños are a staple crop, and the word jalapeño literally means “from Jalapa,” a city in Mexico.
Since these are both popular and delicious items on their own, it makes sense that they produce something amazing when combined. This is where Rancho La Gloria’s jalapeño lime tequila shines. This is an amazing drink that can be used in a number of different ways. Keep reading to find out exactly how!

Drinking Jalapeño Lime Tequila Straight
One of the most straightforward ways to enjoy Rancho La Gloria’s jalapeño lime tequila is by drinking it straight. This is a high-quality tequila that is flavored well. Because of this, it is easy to drink and, thus, easy to drink straight.
Drinking this tequila with a little bit of ice is a great way to enjoy a hot day. The ice cools the drink and makes it more refreshing. The ice also helps to dilute the alcohol a bit, so you can enjoy more without overindulging.
However, you can enjoy our jalapeño lime tequila without any ice at all. This will give you the largest dose of the drink’s natural flavor. Anyone who is a fan of tequila in general should try a little of our jalapeño lime tequila while it is totally unencumbered.

Sausalito Sunset
Most people are aware of a tequila sunrise. However, a Sausalito sunset can be even better!
To make this drink:
- Start with an ounce and a half of jalapeño lime tequila.
- Mix this with three-quarters of an ounce of Aperol, three-quarters of an ounce of lime juice, one-quarter ounce of agave syrup, and half an ounce of passion fruit syrup.
- Pour the mixture into a glass with ice and fill it the rest of the way with club soda.
The way this drink makes its mark is by combining a number of different flavor profiles. The jalapeño tequila provides spice, the Aperol provides something bitter, the lime juice provides something sour, and the agave and fruit syrups provide something sweet. These different flavors all meld together in a single drink. The result is something complex and interesting in a way that can’t be replicated.
Spicy Paloma
The classic paloma is a classic way to enjoy tequila. The way grapefruit flavors interact with the taste of agave is absolutely perfect. However, jalapeño lime tequila enhances this experience even further.
To make a spicy paloma, you essentially go about the same process you would to make a regular paloma:
- Mix 2 ounces of jalapeño lime tequila, an ounce and a half of grapefruit juice, a half ounce of lime juice, and a half ounce of agave syrup.
- Pour this mixture into a glass with ice and fill it the rest of the way with grapefruit soda.
The overall effect of this drink is something cool and refreshing but with a backbone of spice. If you want to enhance this spice even further, you can even rim the glass with a little bit of your favorite chili salt!

Any Spicy Margarita
It is a scientific fact that spicy foods create something similar to a high. This is because your body releases a flood of endorphins in order to deal with the “threat” it thinks is coming from the spicy food. These endorphins make you feel good and make you enjoy whatever you are consuming even more.
You can take advantage of this process to improve the drinks that you are already making. Adding a spicy element, like jalapeño lime tequila, turns a normal drink into something better. This works really well when it comes to margaritas.
To make your favorite margarita into something spicy, just swap out regular tequila with jalapeño lime tequila. You can do this with any type of margarita, but some flavors work better than others. We suggest using something tropical or sweet in order to balance out the heat coming from the jalapeño.
If you don’t already have a margarita recipe, you can start by trying out the hot girl walk spicy margarita.
- First, prepare your glass with a chili salt rim.
- Then, mix up your ingredients.
- Take two ounces of jalapeño lime tequila, one ounce of lime juice, and three-quarters of an ounce of agave syrup and mix them in a cocktail shaker with ice.
- Pour the mixture into your glass and enjoy!
